Savvy Equine Sports Massage

Using PEMF & Equine Massage Therapy to promote good health & wellness in horses.

Why PEMF & Message Therapy?

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy works on the molecular level to improve cell health and promote proper cell function. This ensures that your horse is as healthy as possible.
Additionally, message services can help improve physical performance and overall health in your horse.

Our Services

  • My technique is a muscular skeletal bodywork that’s a combination of deep tissue massage, physical therapy, acupressure, trigger point release & stretches. This combination helps the horse self adjust.

Additionally, my technique helps with structural integration for horses - deep tissue massage & rebalancing mixed together. A massage type of therapy for horses that will rebalance the body left to right, front to back, inside & out. Changes will happen in natural balance, performance, flexibility & behavior.

Structural integration is a type of bodywork that focuses on the connective tissue, or fascia, of the body. Fascia surrounds muscles, groups of muscles, blood vessels, organ & nerves, binding some structures together while permitting others to slide smoothly over each other.

  • PEMF therapy is the top equestrian therapy option for horses & riders. A 40-minute therapy session can reduce soreness, swelling, stiffness & injury. Recovery time for equine competitors can improve by 70%. What’s more, the treatment is not stressful at all - horses LOVE it!

  • Inspired by the Native American Legend, the Raindrop technique is a gentle massage application of key essential oils to the feet, back & spine. Developed by Gary Young, Raindrop therapy is a powerful, non-invasive tool for alleviating physical discomfort & realigning the body, mind & emotion.

Raindrop therapy uses medicinal grade essential oils to promote energy & vitality. These oils are know for their ability to support the immune system. Their high antioxidant properties elevate the mood & foster an environment of physical &. emotional relaxation.

  • Muscle taping is the application of self-adhesive tapes made of cotton. They are applied directly to the hair, fur or skin to relieve pain among many other benefits. The tape material has a composition similar to our skin in terms of thickness, weight & elasticity. The tape should never cause any restrictions in our movement, or hurt the animal or patient. If the horse seems uncomfortable with the tape, you can bathe the horse & remove the tape in the direction of the hair growth, while wet.
